Having previously owned 34% of Sweden-based Mobilaris Mining and Civil Engineering (MCE), Epiroc has now acquired the remainder of the company.
Epiroc President and CEO Helena Hedbloom said the companies already work closely together to provide tools to increase safety and productivity. “We will now incorporate their solutions fully in our comprehensive offering of 6th Sense digital solutions.”
Mobilaris MCE uses personnel and machine data to present real-time positioning and detailed status information in a sophisticated 3D user interface. Its solutions help shorten evacuation times, optimize traffic flow and reduce emissions.
