Industrial technology manufacturer Littelfuse Inc. has launched its SB5000 Industrial Shock Block Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to help protect workers from electrical shock by detecting leakage current, and interrupting the circuit for loads up to 60 amp. NIOSH study finds inconsistent hearing protection use

A new study from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) estimates that more than half of noise-exposed workers didn’t use hearing protection “always” or “usually” when exposed to hazardous occupational noise. Hearing protection device (HPD) non-use was only measured in workers who reported exposure to noise on the job.
