Komatsu Mining India will soon supply TMC Mineral Resources with two Joy shuttlecars for use at its operations.
The transaction marks a significant milestone for the OEM – a cumulative fleet that now totals more than 50 units in operation.
Of those, 18 have been booked in the last 24 months and 17 units have been added to mines in the last two years.
Komatsu said the momentum reinforces what matters most in underground mining: reliability, performance, and partnerships that deliver.
“We are pleased to collaborate with TMC, reflecting their confidence in equipment that consistently performs in India’s demanding underground mining conditions,” it said.
TMC Group is based in Saddu, Raipur; it has several underground projects including the Singhali and Bartarai coal operations.
