Pump manufacturer Tsurumi is expanding its portfolio and collaborating with Italian specialist Dragflow, aiming to offer a broader range of solutions for dewatering, slurry pumping and sediment management.
The technologies of both companies complement each other particularly well in applications where the pumped medium contains a very high proportion of solids.
“In many construction and infrastructure projects, simply pumping out water is not enough – often large quantities of sludge, sand or sediment need to be moved at the same time. This is where the expertise of the two manufacturers complements each other. Tsurumi covers the field of construction drainage and traditional submersible pump technology, whilst Dragflow provides application solutions for scenarios involving high levels of solids: a win-win situation for the industry,” the two said.
