MMG confirmed it has appointed Xu Jiqing as chairman of the company.
He replaces former chairman, Jerry Jiao, who resigned his seat in March 2023 to take up the role of president for Sinochem Holdings.
“I thank the board of directors of MMG sincerely for their confidence in nominating me to chair,” Xu said.
“I undertake, on behalf of all MMG shareholders, to ensure strong governance, a focus on business performance and to advance the significant growth opportunities for the company.”
