Chamirai Nyabeze has been selected as network director for the Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator (MICA).
The newly appointed executive, who brings extensive experience and a strong background in mining innovation, began in his role on July 6.
He will manage the MICA team and lead business development efforts for the group. Chamirai’s appointment is also supported by CEMI, where he has contributed significantly for over a decade.
As the network director, Chamirai will focus on various aspects such as network operations, government relations, brand management, and revenue generation. Additionally, he will continue to serve as the vice president of Business Development at CEMI.
Douglas Morrison, mining advisor to MICA, praised Chamirai’s passion and dedication to nurturing beneficial relationships within the global mining ecosystem. He worked with him since October 2012, and attested to his unwavering passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
