Metso Outotec has a new EUR 11 million order to take its advanced electrowinning equipment to an African copper cathode production plant.
The scope of delivery includes supply of basic engineering and equipment for the facility’s expansion. The customer was not identified.
Metso Outotec officials said the order has been added to its received sheet for 2Q22.
A timeline for the project was not made available.
Metso Outotec’s line-up for copper electrowinning tankhouses includes pre-engineered solutions, key equipment, and services for optimum process performance, increased safety and minimized environmental impact.
