McLanahan breaks ground on new Anaconda facility

McLanahan has broken ground on the development of a new Anaconda Equipment factory in Ardboe, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The 31,330-sq.-ft. facility will allow for an increase in production capacity by up to 30%.

Northern Ireland-based Anaconda Equipment joined McLanahan’s family of companies in 2019.

With an increasing customer demand for the Anaconda Equipment portfolio globally, the expansion to the company facilities will be welcomed. Quality enhancements, environmental benefits, shorter lead times and increased productivity will all help Anaconda meet one of the company’s core goals – customer satisfaction.

“Over the last few years Anaconda has been deep in development of its tracked crushing equipment line with the launch of its open and closed circuit J12 Jaw and I12 Impactor models to add to its current full line of tracked screening, scalping, recycling and conveying equipment,” said Co-Managing Director Alistair Forsyth.

“We have an aggressive design plan to bring to market a number of additional tracked jaw, impactor and cone models, and a huge part of that strategy has been the work behind the scenes in finalizing the planning permissions for our new 31,300-sq.-ft., state-of-the-art production facility adjacent to the current Anaconda facility.”
