PT Mandiri Herindo Adiperkasa Tbk (MAHA) has been named the sole contractor for hauling coal at Indonesia’s largest coal mine – Kaltim Prima Coal in East Kalimantan.

The company will transport KPC coal as the mine owner for the next seven years.

“[We] will always strive to maintain operational stability through achieving coal transportation targets safely and securely. We ensure that this newly established partnership is always good and prolonged to benefit both parties,” said MAHA President Director Yenny Hamidah Koean.

This latest contract follows MAHA obtaining a coal transportation contract from PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) through April 2031.

Kaltim Prima Coal is a subsidiary of PT BUMI Resources Tbk. The mine produces around 50 million tonnes of coal a year.
