Weir ESCO’s Hydraulic Machine Products team recently launched a new ESCO Nemisys cast lip specifically for EX3600 and R9350 face shovel buckets.
This 3,710 mm (146 inch) inside width lip utilizes N1 noses and teeth alongside slim profile shrouds, providing a balanced combination of strength, penetration and digging efficiency.
The first installation of this cast lip has already been made; it is now on a valued customer’s ESCO EX3600 bucket producing at an open-pit copper mine in central Asia, the company said.
Motion Metrics ShovelMetrics Gen 3 is also installed on this face shovel, supplying the customer with a complete bucket monitoring solution that uses deep learning to improve safety, energy efficiency and productivity.
