The Copper Mark adds 100th participant

The Copper Mark has reached a major milestone: 100 participating sites. Molymex, a molybdenum roaster in México, is the latest active participant of the framework demonstrating its growth and expansion into other metals and along the value chain.

“We are proud of this significant milestone for The Copper Mark. Our framework supports sites in demonstrating their ESG performance and committing to continuous improvement, which is of paramount importance in view of the globally pursued energy transition,” said executive director Michèle Brülhart.

“We know there is still a lot of work ahead of us, but for now, we celebrate this milestone.”

Of the 100 sites, 77 have received The Copper Mark, The Molybdenum Mark, The Nickel Mark, and/or The Zinc Mark.
