Normet, after more than two decades in production of more than 200 units, has ceased production of its Charmec 1610 B and 1614 B model boom lifts.
The models’ successor, the MC 605 emulsion charger, has established itself well in the community with its ergonomic enclosed cabin, improved electrics and upgraded monitoring system.
The final 1514 B was recently delivered to mining contractor Develop in Western Australia. It will be used at the state’s Bellevue gold mine in the Leinster region.
Normet said the contractor has also expressed interest in the MC 605 and will be taking delivery of a unit in November.
