Software and manufacturing group selected MINExpo 2021 to announce the next generation of its Titan 3330 Load Haul Optimization system, now powered by artificial intelligence.
The company said the addition of AI to the real-time payload monitoring system will aid it in improving capabilities to identify a productive load, and to learn and optimize further with each bucket.
The new capabilities, CR Digital noted, have been taken from the results it has gotten from more than 2.5 billion tonnes of in-field experience. According to its head of product strategy Kevin Greenwood, it is a significant breakthrough for its portfolio of offerings that can help load trucks more accurately, increase average payload per truck and reduce maintenance events caused by overloads.
“Our artificial intelligence is now able to determine when a machine is digging vs gardening with increased accuracy. Even better: Titan 3330’s ability to identify productive digging will only increase over time. More accurate data leads to better decision-making for our customers, and ultimately improved productivity,” Greenwood added.
Titan 3330 now also comes with new Truck.Trakka technology. The addition assists with a quicker and more accurate identification of a haul truck fleet, so target payloads are adjusted and optimized by individual vehicles.
“To fully optimize the payload cycle, we need to understand the capacity of each truck in the fleet. Our Truck.Trakka technology can accurately identify which individual truck is being loaded at any time, so Titan 3330 can understand what a productive load is and adjust the target payload accordingly.” Greenwood pointed out.
The upgraded Titan 3330 system is now available worldwide.
