Australia-based explorer Fleet Space Technologies has acquired HiSeis, a leading provider of active seismic exploration technology to the minerals industry. The strategic acquisition will strengthen Fleet Space’s end-to-end exploration services.
“Fleet Space’s acquisition of HiSeis marks a transformative leap into the future of data-driven exploration,” said Flavia Tata Nardini, CEO and co-founder of Fleet Space Technologies. “To unlock the potential of real-time exploration and AI, we must consolidate, standardize, and integrate high-quality datasets to maximize the predictive capabilities of frontier AI systems.
“By combining Fleet Space’s vertically integrated exploration platform with HiSeis’ seismic exploration solutions and imaging expertise, we are taking a vital step to generate exabytes of high-quality exploration data needed to unlock faster exploration outcomes and enhance shareholder value for the global mining industry,” Nardini continued.
Fleet Space’s acquisition of HiSeis follows its recent US$100 million Series D funding round, more than doubling the company’s valuation to over $525 million, and fueling the expansion of its ExoSphere exploration platform’s end-to-end capabilities.
