Conspec Controls, a leading manufacturer of fixed gas detection systems for the mining industry, has launched a limited-time, trade-in program designed to help mine operators upgrade gas monitoring systems to the latest generation of Conspec’s OPTIO Multi-Gas Monitors.
The program offers generous credits for mine operators’ existing gas monitors – legacy Conspec models or competing brand systems – making it easier and more affordable to improve site safety while reducing the cost of ownership associated with maintenance and regular calibration.
OPTIO Multi-Gas Monitors deliver fast response times, long sensor life, intuitive user interfaces, and support for many of the most popular communication protocols; all in the same rugged design that has made Conspec a staple for gas detection in mines across North America.
“We’ve engineered our monitors not just to survive in extreme underground environments, but to also consume less power and provide faster communications over a wider range of protocols,” said Rob Collins, CEO of Conspec Controls.
“With real-time post-blast gas monitoring, ventilation managers can assess conditions remotely and get crews back underground safely and quickly; so the face returns to production sooner, without compromising safety.”
Units collected through the trade-in program will be recycled responsibly, aligning with Conspec’s sustainability goals and reducing electronic waste.
