Schlam announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Muswellbrook, New South Wales. This is the company’s third facility in Australia and fifth globally.
The Muswellbrook facility will provide timely, local resources to support the full lifecycle of Schlam’s products in NSW as part of its global expansion driven by customers’ needs. The new site will assemble Hercules mining truck beds for haul trucks ranging from 90-400 tonnes; manufacturing Barracuda loading attachments for 100-600t machines; and delivering local product lifecycle care (rebuilds, refurbishments, wear monitoring, and recycling).
“We are creating new career opportunities in the region, recruitment is already underway across a number of trade, leadership, and professional roles,” Schlam wrote on LinkedIn. “For us this is more than just growth, it us backing customers locally, reducing turnaround times, and supporting the communities we live and work in.”
The Muswellbrook facility will be fully operational by August.
